Children are eligible for services if they have a corrected visual acuity of 20/70 or greater in the best corrected eye. They may also qualify if they have normal acuity but have a visual field loss of 20 degrees or less; or an ophthalmologist recommends services. Services we offer include; functional vision assessments, visual efficiency and low vision skills development, pre-Braille and Braille instruction, consultation services to families and providers, family support services, developmental assessments, IFSP development, Orientation and Mobility, Child Service Coordination, Service Coordination, and staff development.
