Children's Developmental Services Agency of the Blue Ridge CDSA Wilkes Satellite Office 505 13th Street, Suite A North Wilkesboro, NC 28659 336-667-8978 Contacts: Robin Griffin, Infant Toddler Program Supervisor / Early Intervention Service Coordinators Description: The CDSA serves children birth to age three who have a developmental delay or have a condition which has a high probability of resulting in developmental delay. Early Intervention includes a variety of related services such as multi-disciplinary evaluations, speech, physical, occupational and nutrition therapy, child development instruction, and service coordination. Evaluation Services are provided at no cost to families. Although some Early Intervention services have a fee, North Carolina law requires that no family be denied these services based solely on the inability to pay. Services we offer include; functional vision assessments, visual efficiency and low vision skills development, pre-Braille and Braille instruction, consultation services to families and providers, family support services, developmental assessments, IFSP development, Orientation and Mobility, Child Service Coordination, Service Coordination, and staff development.
